Situated approximately 35 km southwest of Nanaimo, BC, the Nanaimo Lakes Campsite is located on the shores of First Lake.

Facilities
Families and Seniors can enjoy 75 rustic campsites at three sites: Old Mill, Windy Point and Riverside 
Campsite Map
Group camping is available at Deadwood campsite.
Camping at Fourth Lake and Echo/Panther Lake is available on weekends and only until extreme fire season.
- Fire pits and picnic tables are at each site, plus a group shelter at Old Mill and Windy Point.
- Pit latrines only—boil or bring your own potable water.
- Quads, dirt bikes or any other form of ATV are not permitted. Boat motors are limited to 10 hp or less. No hunting is permitted around any of the campsite locations.
Rates
Shoulder Season (May 1 – 16; Sep 10 – 30): $15 per night per party.
Peak Season (May 17 – Sep 9): $20 per night per party.
A party is defined as a family including immediate family members, or per vehicle.
Payment for reserved sites must be made in advance of the reserved time. Cash only—we do not accept cheques or credit cards.
Firewood is available from each campsite host for $6/bundle (large Rubbermaid bin). Cutting of firewood is not permitted.
Reservations
Waterfront Sites: 3-night minimum on regular weekends, 4-night minimum on long weekends.
Non-Waterfront Sites: 2-night minimum on regular weekends, 3-night minimum on long weekends.
7-day minimum notice for all reservations.

Getting There
From the South (northbound on Hwy 1):
- Take the Wellington / Nanaimo Lakes off-ramp exit (approx. 2 km north of Cassidy Airport) & continue to circle under the highway now heading for Nanaimo Lakes
- Continue west on Nanaimo River Rd. for approx. 25 km until you reach the Timberwest Main Gate (end of pavement)
From the North (southbound on Hwy 19 / Nanaimo Parkway):
- Turn left at Fifth St. (south of Jingle Pot Rd. near Malaspina College)
- Head east on Fifth St. for one block then turn right at the first light onto Wakesiah Ave.
- Head south for one block then turn right again onto Harewood/Nanaimo Lakes Rd.
- Continue SW for approx. 15 km on Nanaimo Lakes Rd., following the pavement (which turns into S. Forks Rd.) until T-junction with Nanaimo River Rd.
- Turn right and head west on Nanaimo River Rd. until you reach the Timberwest Main Gate (end of pavement)—approx. 15 km.
Proceed through the Main Gate and continue for approx. 4 km. Turn left at the Nanaimo Lakes Campsite sign and continue to the three Riverside campsites. Cross the bridge over the Nanaimo River and turn left at the T-junction for Windy Point and Old Mill campsites.
Check in with Campsite Hosts at either Windy Point or Old Mill.

Nanaimo Lakes Campsite is located on Timberwest Private Forest land and is managed by Silvifor Resource Consultants Ltd.
